Kyu Grading, 16th December 2022

Congratulations to everyone who passed their coloured belt exam today. A great way to finish off the year.

Dan Grading, 6th December 2022

CSKC hosted a black belt grading today examined by the chief instructor of the Toyakwai Karate Association, Sensei Joe Anderson, 9th Dan. Our instructors Iain Kinghorn and Daryl Bigg-Wither have been training hard for their advanced gradings. As well as practicing very technical kihon (basics and combinations) and additional kata, they have expanded their skills in self defence and kata bunkai (applications of the techniques).

Iain was awarded Yondan (4th Dan black belt) and Daryl earned Sandan (3rd Dan black belt). Well done! Sensei Tone and I are very proud of your progression.
